Dirt Biking, Sunday 10/19....Wanna go?

It looks like the track will be dry and the weather BEAUTIFUL! I've invited my friends to join for another half-day of riding dirt bikes.

I'll take some docile bikes along for beginners to ride. Track opens at 9am. I'll run with The Woodlands Running Club early, then load up and head out....

C'mon! Coach Bill? Manny/Cassie? Lance? Adrienne? John/Sabrina? I've neglected to mention a bunch of folks here, but that don't mean you ain't invited...

It should be a fine day for riding! Lemme know....BTW, I'm an excellent instructor!...

I wish I could but I have a reunion with a group of runners I ran with in the 80's in the morning and our Light The Night packet pickup tomorrow night.

Keep me on the short list.

Evan- this sounds awesome! I would love to learn how to ride and I bet Manny would too! However, we can't tomorrow as we have a 35 mile ride planned and then the Texans game to go to. Rain check????

Rain check for Tiggs and Bill D has been issued!!

Short notice, I know! I just started rolling around in the great weather earlier today and just got more-and-more excited!!

The bikes are all outside getting 'serviced'....fresh fuel, oil changes where needed, lube chains, inflate tires...and OF COURSE, check out runs up and down the road I live on!

Rain Checks ISSUED! :):)

Arrrrrg!!!!!!

No cooperation on the outing.

"why didn't you tell me earlier?" yada yada yada

"If you were doing what you were supposed to do, I could have told you first thing in the morning and we would be riding in less than an hour."

We can always do something later. Never do it when we should. Some day the boy will catch on.....WE HOPE.

Bummed again. The misery. We must stand firm and not reward slothful behavior.

My mom figured out early on that 'grounding' me from riding minibikes/motorcycles was the most effective method!

Oh the PAIN of hearing, "you're grounded from riding for 2 weeks"....

Now your boy is keeping your whole family from enjoying the outing...shame on him, he needs to study his school work! Next time, I'm outta here! :):):)

Y'all didn't miss anything noteworthy...the track was horrible....DEEP sandy ruts everywhere. Oh well, you win some you lose some, I'll go back in a day or 2, after they groom the track.

Hey! Glad you are updating your blog again. Too bad I just read this...the invitation to go motorbiking crossing thing whatever sounded tempting. Ok, not really. I don't even know what its called but it involved dirt and flying through the air, right? Yeah, I was doing my nails yesterday anyway. Dirt and wet nail polish don't mix. ;)) Hope you had a good time!
